Itinerary
On arrival at New Bongaigaon railway(80Km)/Guwahati railway station (200km)/Guwahati airport (190Km) you will be met by our local representative and get transferred to Manas national park. Overnight at Manas National Park.
Today you will take a morning Elephant ride and explore the lush green scenery (Only possible in Winter). After freshening up and having breakfast, it’s now time for Jeep Safari in the Manas national park. Manas National Park, Assam is the only place to be distincted as biosphere reserve, a natural heritage site, Project Tiger Reserve, and Project Elephant Reserve all at the same time. Get the rare sightings of exotic Manas wildlife sanctuary animals including Assam roofed turtle, pygmy hog, and hispid hare. The beautiful raw surroundings will make you feel overwhelming love for nature. Overnight at Manas National Park.
Post breakfast, you will visit Kakoijana forest. You can easily take the opportunity to experience the excellent jungle trekking where you can see the endangered golden langur and other species like pangolin(bonrow), binthurong, tortoise, reptiles, python and different types of birds in their natural habitat with expert guide. One can also have the taste of local cuisine, weavings of rabha tribes and folk cultural show in the surrounding villages. Lunch at Kakaoijana or Nigamghola tree house( Just 10 km from Kakoijana ) village trail (Garo tribes) and visit to Tamranga lake to see the marvelous red sunset. Overnight at Astha Nature’s Home, Abhayapuri.
After breakfast drive to kachugaon forest and check into the campsite near Jamduar river for sighting of spotted deer, peacock,elephant, hornbill etc. You can also do river rafting, jungle trekking , jungle safari or bird watching. Overnight stay at Jamduar Forest Stay.
Today you will be visiting Chakrashila wild life sanctuary where you will do boating and bird watching at Diplai lake. Later return to Astha Nature’s Home, Abhayapuri.
After breakfast, check-out from hotel on time and transfer to New Bongaigaon railway /Guwahati railway station /Guwahati airport for your onward journey.
